The Overlay Trigger widget adds a button that opens an Off-Canvas Panel or Modal / Popup template. It is used when you want a header button, menu button, CTA, or icon to open extra content without navigating away from the page.
When To Use It
Use this widget for:
- mobile menu panels
- slide-in contact panels
- popup CTAs
- newsletter modals
- login/register panels
- any manually triggered off-canvas or modal template
How To Use It
- Create an Off-Canvas Panel or Modal / Popup template.
- Design the overlay content in Elementor.
- Edit the page, header, or footer where the trigger should appear.
- Add the Qreative: Overlay Trigger widget.
- Choose the overlay type.

Important Notes
For modal templates, panel styling is managed inside the selected modal template’s post settings (edit through editor topbar). The Overlay Trigger widget controls the trigger button itself.
