A Modal / Popup template opens in an overlay above the page. Use it for announcements, newsletter signups, lead forms, special offers, notices, or focused calls to action.
How to set it up
- In WordPress, go to Appearance → Qreative Header Footer Designer → Add New.
- Add a clear title, for example Newsletter Popup.
- In Template Type, choose Modal / Popup.
- Keep Template Status set to Active.
- Choose how the popup opens in Popup Behavior.
- Choose where automatic popups may appear in Display Conditions.
- Click Publish.
- Click Edit with Elementor and build the popup content.
Opening options
- Manual only opens the popup from the Qreative: Overlay Trigger widget or from an Elementor button using the provided button ID.
- After delay opens automatically after the visitor stays on the page for the selected number of seconds.
- After scroll depth opens automatically after the visitor scrolls to the selected percentage of the page.
- Exit intent opens when a desktop visitor moves toward leaving the page.
Good to know
- Display Conditions apply to automatic popup triggers.
- Manual trigger buttons can open the selected popup where the button is placed.
- Use Display Frequency to limit how often automatic popups open for the same visitor.
