Pro: Modal / Popup Template

A Modal / Popup template opens in an overlay above the page. Use it for announcements, newsletter signups, lead forms, special offers, notices, or focused calls to action.

How to set it up

  1. In WordPress, go to Appearance → Qreative Header Footer Designer → Add New.
  2. Add a clear title, for example Newsletter Popup.
  3. In Template Type, choose Modal / Popup.
  4. Keep Template Status set to Active.
  5. Choose how the popup opens in Popup Behavior.
  6. Choose where automatic popups may appear in Display Conditions.
  7. Click Publish.
  8. Click Edit with Elementor and build the popup content.

Opening options

  • Manual only opens the popup from the Qreative: Overlay Trigger widget or from an Elementor button using the provided button ID.
  • After delay opens automatically after the visitor stays on the page for the selected number of seconds.
  • After scroll depth opens automatically after the visitor scrolls to the selected percentage of the page.
  • Exit intent opens when a desktop visitor moves toward leaving the page.

Good to know

  • Display Conditions apply to automatic popup triggers.
  • Manual trigger buttons can open the selected popup where the button is placed.
  • Use Display Frequency to limit how often automatic popups open for the same visitor.
  • Modal panel styling is managed in Elementor post settings while editing the popup template.
