- Add a clear title, for example Summer Sale Announcement.
- In Template Type, choose Announcement Bar.
- Keep Template Status set to Active.
- Choose where the announcement bar should appear in Display Conditions.
- Optionally use Smart Targeting to select visitors, devices, or a date range.
- Configure the options under Announcement Behavior.
- Click Publish.
- Click Edit with Elementor and build the announcement bar content.
Announcement behavior
Dismissible adds a close button so visitors can hide the announcement bar.
When the bar is dismissible, Remember Dismissal determines when it may appear again for that visitor:
- Until the browser is closed
- For one day
- For one week
- For one month
- Until the bar is updated
Enable Keep Visible While Scrolling to keep the announcement bar above a sticky header. Leave this option disabled if the bar should scroll away with the rest of the page.
