The ID you get from Google Analytics can be connected to your website by installing this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/ga-google-analytics/

After installing you can enter you Google Analytics ID under Settings → Google Analytics at the “GA Tracking ID” setting which is located under “Plugins Settings” panel.
