Classic Theme

For the smoothest experience, use a classic WordPress theme. Classic themes usually provide the normal hooks and structure needed to replace or inject custom headers and footers cleanly.

Good examples include:

  • Hello Elementor
  • Astra
  • GeneratePress
  • Kadence
  • OceanWP

But any classic theme that support normal theme header and footer output should be working.

Block Theme Limitations

Block themes use the WordPress Site Editor and template parts instead of the traditional theme header/footer system.

Because of that, some features may not work the same way with block themes. For example, block themes may not have the classic Appearance → Menus screen, and menu-based widgets may depend on classic WordPress menus.

If your site uses a block theme, the plugin may still work in some cases, but classic themes are the recommended setup.
